Laurentian Valley, ON (December 21st, 2016):  Recently, Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre Staff made a donation in the amount of $228.50 to Family and Children Services of Renfrew County to assist a family in need this holiday season. Waste Recovery Centre staff are responsible for sorting over 6,000 tonnes of recyclables a year.  While sorting, staff often find small bills and loose change which they collect and donate to local community groups.
