Waste Permit Cards are required for garbage disposal and can be purchased from the Township office during their regular business hours. Please note – stamp cards are not available for purchase at OVWRC.

North Algona Wilberforce Large Item Disposal
September 21 – 28, 2024
Residents with a 911 civic address are eligible for 2 bulk item disposal coupons. Coupons MUST be picked up at the Township Office during regular office hours. Bring your roll number to the Township Office to get your coupons. Coupons WILL NOT be mailed! Bring your coupon to the Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre (Gate 3) during regular operating hours for disposal of acceptable large items at no charge.

ELECTRONIC WASTE (computers, TV’s, etc.) and SCRAP METAL can be dropped off at both locations for no charge.
PROPANE TANKS, HAZARDOUS WASTE and FREON APPLIANCES must be brought to OVWRC. No charge for drop-off. Freon does not have to be removed.yel
