Position: Facility Labourer – (Part-Time)
Description:
The Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre is currently recruiting for a Facility Labourer (Part-Time). This position is responsible for facility cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Performs general facility cleaning duties in eating areas, washrooms and offices.
- Sweeping, mopping, emptying waste containers.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to work in an industrial setting that is exposed to related noise, dust and odours.
- Experience with various kinds of cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
- Able to bend, twist, push, pull materials and lift 50 lbs. without restrictions.
- Must have ability to get to and from work site.
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
Other Information:
Up to 15 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, outside regular OVWRC operating hours.
Start Date: February 9, 2026
Rate of Pay: $23.65/hour
