Effective January 1, 2026 – Operating Hours at Gate 3 (Household Hazardous Waste Depot, Electronic Waste Depot, North Algona Wilberforce Depot, and the Reuse Centre) have changed:
NEW HOURS:
Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
November 1 – March 31 – Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
April 1 – October 31 – Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed Mondays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
The Hazardous Waste Depot, Reuse Centre and North Algona Wilberforce Depot will only be available Tuesday to Saturday during regular Gate 3 hours.
Freon appliances will only be accepted Tuesday to Saturday during regular Gate 3 hours.
Electronic waste is also accepted at Gate 1 during regular operating hours.
