The Ottawa Valley Waste Management Board approved the 2025 Tipping Fees at their November 28 meeting. The minimum fee remains the same and applies to most materials weighing under 175 kgs. Most tipping fees were increased by $5 or $10/tonne to adequately reflect the increased costs in processing and upcoming capital projects required for continued site operation.
Paper & Container Recycling and Corrugated Cardboard fees are only listed until March 28, 2025 as Emterra will be responsible for setting fees for this material after March 28. This is related to the transition of recycling programs across Ontario to Extended Producer Responsibility. Emterra will be operating the Recycling Facility at Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre.
