Our regular operating hours are (includes the Electronic & Hazardous Waste Depot & Reuse Centre):
Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
CLOSED Sundays and Public Holidays

A few things to remember when visiting the Centre:

No smoking on OVWRC property

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for your safety

Children must remain in vehicles at all times

Ensure loads are safely secured during transport to OVWRC

A few things to remember for a safe Holiday weekend:

Method for proper disposal of fireworks: Soak fireworks in water for 24-48 hours and dispose of as regular garbage. Fireworks DO NOT belong in recycling.

Propane tanks can be disposed of at our Hazardous Waste Depot (open to residents of Petawawa, Pembroke, Laurentian Valley & North Algona Wilberforce).  Never put propane tanks of any size (including the single use cylinders) in your garbage or recycling.
